Since 1 December 2022, the Emile Janique activity has been integrated into FAMATECH. For you, clients, subcontractors and partners, nothing changes in practice. We continue to manufacture your leather seals, bellows, sleeves and belts with the same expertise, the same tools and the same teams. All technical and commercial files have been transferred. Your references, your dimensions, your order histories — everything is preserved.
28 years at the helm of Emile Janique: Yann Fèvre's legacy
Yann Fèvre took over Emile Janique in 1993, a hundred years after the company's founding in 1893 by Messrs Toillon and Janique. During these 28 years, he maintained the manufacture of leather seals and bellows without interruption, obtained ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications and secured the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label. Under his leadership, Emile Janique became the European leader in leather components for industry, producing more than 250,000 parts per year for clients such as Renault, SNCF, Bombardier, Alstom, Michelin, EDF and Eurocopter.
These are 28 years of development and transmission of a rare expertise that few companies in Europe still master. Yann Fèvre retires knowing that this expertise continues in good hands.

The coming together with FAMATECH is not a rupture. It is an organised transition to guarantee the continuity of expertise and the continuity of production. The production tools, technical files and commercial references have been fully transferred. We continue to manufacture the same products, in the same materials, with the same rigour.
Leather remains our primary material. We also work cork, NBR, EPDM, FKM elastomers, PTFE and other materials according to your needs. Our design office remains available to study your static and dynamic sealing challenges and propose the most appropriate solution for your application.

Here are the products we continue to manufacture in the continuity of Emile Janique expertise.
Dynamic and cut leather seals: We manufacture your dynamic seals for your cylinders, presses and pumps, and your cut seals for the static sealing of your valves, housings and flanges. In leather, cork, NBR, EPDM, FKM or PTFE according to your fluid and temperature constraints.
Moulded protective bellows: Our moulded bellows protect your cylinder rods, ball screws and displacement shafts against chips, oils and dust. Manufactured in leather or PVC on our modular tooling, available with zip closure, vent holes, stiffeners or guide rings according to your application.
Machine tool bellows: We manufacture your fabric bellows for guide rails, slideways and moving tables in all the shapes your machine requires: box, U, L, roof or louvre. Everything is manufactured custom-made from your drawings or your existing part.
Protections, covers and sleeves: Our leather, PVC and silicone protection covers protect your control panels, hoods and robots. Our sleeves and compensators ensure the circulation of fluids, gases and powders in your ventilation and air conditioning installations.
Leather clutches, belts and straps: Our leather clutches equip your flywheel presses and die-stamping machines. Our belts handle your industrial transmissions where synthetic belts are not suitable. Our straps are cut to the exact dimensions of your application.
Everything is manufactured in our workshop in Reyrieux, in the Ain, without subcontracting, from single units to large series.
